Job Summary

Quad is seeking a skilled Night Machinist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for machining and repairing production parts, prototypes, and replacement parts. You will work closely with our team to ensure high-quality standards are met and that all work is performed in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC and manual mills and lathes to produce high-quality parts
  • Read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
  • Apply knowledge of tooling, speeds, and feeds to optimize production
  • Inspect parts for defects and verify quality
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or Toolroom Machinist
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of CNC operations and programming
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with overhead cranes, CNC programming, and Mig/Tig welding
  • Knowledge of Lean and Kaizen principles
  • Ability to work 4 10's or 12-hour shifts, including overtime as needed
