Job Summary

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a skilled Preventative Maintenance Technician I to join our team. As a Preventative Maintenance Technician I, you will be responsible for performing general and preventative maintenance repairs in a multi-family residential community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance on building systems and appliances, including electrical, plumbing, painting, and HVAC.
  • Apply basic skills in two or more trades, such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC, to ensure quality maintained homes and community.
  • Conduct routine service repairs and preventative maintenance of all aspects, including homes, common areas, grounds, and community.
  • May be required to complete all assigned maintenance work on vacant homes within Liberty Military Housing standards.
  • Participate in routine inspections, including QC, move-in, preventative maintenance, machinery, and appliance inspections.
Requirements
  • One or more years of related maintenance experience preferred.
  • Beginning-level understanding or experience in two or more basic trades, including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and appliance repair.
  • Working knowledge of appliances and ability to operate small hand and electrical tools.
  • Effective communication and interaction skills to exchange information and give or receive work direction.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings, and other work-related activities.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting/carrying supplies or equipment up to 65 lbs, frequent reaching, stooping, bending, and kneeling, and extensive walking and standing.
