Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Leidos QTC Health Services in Springfield, MO. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to our patients, including conducting general medicine, occupational, and disability health examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations, including reviewing medical history and associated records, interpreting clinical data, and completing written reports and generating independent medical opinions (IMO)
  • Provide telephonic and virtual exams, as well as unique exam settings such as homebound and event sites
  • Collaborate with other professional and clinical staff as needed to determine the most effective and evidence-based way forward on behalf of the examinee population
  • Document examinee records in appropriate systems and maintain accurate and up-to-date records
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited university or college
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Minimum 3 years of post-graduate primary care / internal medicine experience
  • Unrestricted State medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice in the state of hire
  • Valid BLS OR ACLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations
