Key Responsibilities:

- Execute security functions, including electronic monitoring and systematic patrols throughout the facility.
- Coordinate responses to various potential issues affecting patients, staff, and visitors.
- Enforce hospital policies and procedures with fairness and consistency.
- Implement guidelines and ongoing monitoring strategies to maintain a secure workplace for employees and a safe environment for care.
- Collaborate with the Environment of Care committee to promote a comprehensive approach to safety and security.

Qualifications:

Education, Experience, and Training:
1. Prior experience in healthcare security or a related field is preferred.
2. Possession of a State Guard Certification Registration Card is preferred.
3. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Facility-Specific Requirements:
1. A valid State Driver's License is required upon hire.
2. A current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report may be required.
