We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Highgate Hotels. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, including performing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, as well as maintenance on laundry equipment, ice machines, and other essential systems.
  • Monitor energy conservation and perform tasks to minimize waste and optimize resource usage.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, determining the cause and reporting to the Front Desk as necessary.
  • Perform other tasks and jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Licensure in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license for the applicable state is required.
  • An acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) is also required.
