About the Role

Southern Veterinary Partners is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. As a key member of our animal health care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication and Education: Develop strong relationships with clients, understand their needs and concerns, and provide clear and concise information about their pet's health and treatment options.
  • Medical and Surgical Care: Perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat medical and surgical conditions, and provide preventative care to ensure the health and well-being of our patients.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our veterinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in veterinary medicine, attend continuing education courses, and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree: Earned from an accredited university.
  • Licensure: Valid licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state where you will be working.
  • Professional Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
