Key Responsibilities
  • Commission, start-up, and operation of wind turbines.
  • Perform tasks on the ground or at heights, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Attend regular on-site safety meetings and participate in ongoing training.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair wind turbines, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Safely operate company-assigned fleet vehicles and complete required paperwork.
  • Attend on-the-job training with on-site personnel and demonstrate a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Travel extensively (100%) and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience using basic power tools and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic wind technician certificates, including Tower Rescue, CPR, First Aid, AED, OSHA 10, Competent Climber, Confined Space, Working at Heights, NFPA 70, and LOTO.
  • Current certificates from major turbine manufacturers and GWO certificates highly desirable.
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills, with a positive attitude and adaptability.
