Job Summary:

  • Develops and integrates structural requirements to establish system design, coordinating with other engineering groups to define the product's environment.
  • Guides product design and verifies structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Develops test plans and configurations, supports test execution, and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
  • Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
  • Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structural analysis tasks include static strength, damage tolerance, and durability.
  • Develops, integrates, and documents structural requirements to establish system design, coordinating with other engineering groups to define the product's environment.
  • Guides product design and verifies structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Develops test plans and configurations, supports test execution, and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
  • Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
  • Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.

Requirements:

  • Certification development and documentation support.
  • Certification process experience.
  • Preferred software: NASTRAN/PATRAN.
  • Education requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, and 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Compensation:

$74-$78 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
