Position Summary
As the Pharmacy Drug Use Policy (DUP) Manager at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will engage with medical, nursing, pharmacy, and healthcare teams to develop, maintain, and implement drug use policies, protocols, and initiatives, alongside drug information services and the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the human resources management of the Drug Use Policy team, which comprises 6 Drug Use Policy Specialists and 3 Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacists. Additional duties encompass strategic planning for biologics and therapeutic advancements, collaborating with medical staff to formulate evidence-based guidelines, evaluating new medications for the formulary, creating content for Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee meetings, and working with staff on complex therapeutic issues and targeted drug programs.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
- Pharm.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited pharmacy school in the USA
- Post-graduate residency training preferred or equivalent experience
- Board certification in pharmacology preferred
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California
- Board certification in pharmacology preferred
- BLS certification
Additional Skills:
- Strong clinical background
- Preferred candidate with experience in Drug Use Policy
Working Conditions
This is a hybrid position allowing for remote work once a week.
Compensation
Base Pay: $127.42
