Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Driver to join our team at Waste Pro. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a refuse collection vehicle on pre-assigned routes, collecting and dumping garbage and refuse, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Operate a Refuse Collection Vehicle: Drive a commercial motor vehicle on pre-established routes, collecting and dumping garbage and refuse in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Interact with residents in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience with Waste Pro.
  • Perform Daily Pre and Post Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, and complete any necessary maintenance or repairs.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Ensure the vehicle and surrounding area are clean and free of hazards, and report any safety concerns to management.
  • Meet Department of Transportation and State Requirements: Comply with all regulations and guidelines for commercial motor vehicle operators, including hours of service, vehicle maintenance, and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Possess a valid CDL with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Ability: Be physically able to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, and work in a variety of environmental conditions.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, management, and other team members.
