Lead Fire Alarm Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Nexus Talent Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, certifying, and maintaining fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and certify fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Guide installation process and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Add devices to existing systems and certify the system after any modification.
  • Make minor repairs and programming changes to keep systems operational and reliable.
  • Interact with customers and general contractors to ensure work is performed as expected and on schedule.
  • Communicate schedule ability, material needs, or any job-related issues with the Project Management team.
  • Complete assigned tasks on time.
  • Support after-hours emergency service call-out on a rotational basis.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial fire alarm system installation.
  • Programming experience required.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical and parts manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.
  • NICET Certification preferred but not required.
