Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Loon Mountain. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of company property and grounds to prevent thefts and fraud.
- Provide safety protection of main resort property, employees, and guests.
- Assist the Supervisor as a liaison between local authorities and Loon Mountain.
- Investigate accidents, injuries, and suspected crimes.
- Complete reports, logs, and other required written documents.
- Perform security activities, traffic control, and aid to the public as required.
- Operate vehicles, including cars and trucks.
- Contribute to team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort, and safety of guests and employees.
- Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by the immediate supervisor.
- Effectively communicate via radio.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is also acceptable.
