Job Summary

Truck with Jed Logistics is seeking a skilled Class A Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across the country
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to meet customer expectations
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and delivery times
  • Collaborate with other drivers and logistics team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • 6 months recent tractor-trailer experience within the past 12 months
  • Local experience will count, but yard jockey position won't count
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • No more than 5 jobs in the past 3 years; will consider a driver with 6 jobs as long as one job was for at least 12 months
  • No more than 1 'At Fault' DOT Recorable Accident in the past 3 years
  • No safety termination from last employer
  • No DUI's/DWI's in a personal vehicle within the past 3 years
  • Urine & hair drug screen plus physical before attending orientation
  • Felonies and misdemeanors will be reviewed
