Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at NORMA Group Holding GmbH, you will be part of an international mid-sized corporation with ambitious growth plans and a high customer focus. You will work in a team-oriented environment with a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction.

The primary scope of work for this internship will be to provide assistance to the Quality team in executing critical projects for the Quality Assurance area. You will develop Quality Inspection documents and load inspection parameters into the coordinate measuring machine. You will be supervised by the Director of Quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Updating and expanding existing QA documentation
  • Creating inspections plans in preparation for the new ERP system migration, Coordinate Measuring Machine, and production inspection documents
  • Creating training materials for various groups
  • Supporting the implementation of quality projects
  • Auditing processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Requirements
  • Recording keeping for gauge control system
  • Adhering to site safety policies and tracking progress on safety improvements
  • Other relevant projects as designated by the Quality Director

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be an active current student attending a college or university
  • Prefer computer science, engineering, or other technical field of study
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter

  • Must have exceptional initiative, positive approach, enthusiasm, accountability
  • Must be independent, learn new concepts quickly, and work with minimal supervision
  • Must keep the department manager informed of results, key information, and issues

  • Demonstrates a consistent level of attention to detail
