At USPI, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Surgical Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical procedures, working closely with our experienced surgical team to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, ensuring aseptic techniques are implemented at all times.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures, providing support and maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the highest quality patient care, adhering to USPI's standards and protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, contributing to the continuous improvement of our surgical services.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program or previous surgical technician experience of at least two years.
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.
- Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.
- Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients, and physicians.
