Powersports Instructor

Masis Professional Group seeks a skilled Powersports Instructor - Technical Trainer to join our team.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

A successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Powersports-related courses to students. The role involves preparing lesson plans and coursework materials, conducting quizzes and examinations, arranging activities and demonstrations, grading student performances, monitoring progress, maintaining records, and assisting students as needed.

• Prepare for classroom instruction by applying strong organizational and planning skills.
• Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time.
• Provide students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
• Instruct students individually and in groups using various teaching methods such as lectures, discussions, and task demonstrations in the shop.
• Maintain a professional and positive image for students.
• Demonstrate competent knowledge of subject matter.
• Assign and grade class work and homework and provide evaluative feedback to students.
• Utilize computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials to supplement presentations and demonstrations.
• Prepare reports on students and activities as required by administration.
• Complete student records as required by laws, college policies, and administrative regulations.

The ideal candidate will have industry-related certifications, a strong understanding of the Powersports industry, excellent communication skills, and experience teaching or working in a related field.

• Industry-related certifications are a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior teaching experience and shop management are a plus.
• Have the ability to provide instruction in a group setting.
