Role Responsibilities

The travel nurse will assess, plan, and execute nursing care for patients under the guidance of an RN. This role includes ensuring continuity of care through direct patient interaction, administering medications, and overseeing CNAs and support personnel. Flexibility to cross-train in various nursing departments is required as needs arise.

Qualifications & Skills

Applicants must possess a current California LVN license. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records is preferred. Candidates should successfully pass a nursing medical examination and hold a current BLS certification. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to interact professionally and respectfully with patients, staff, and representatives from governmental agencies. Basic computer proficiency is required.
