About the Position

We are looking for a seasoned Maintenance Director to lead our Engineering department at Global Hotel Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and supervision, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

  • Provide overall direction and coordination of the Engineering department, including maintenance staff, accounting/budgeting, asset protection, inventory control, and human resources.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve maintenance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of plant and equipment, including repair and service records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations and policies, and develop emergency programs as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering (preferred).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of maintenance experience, with 3 years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Building Management/Engineering and strong management skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively deal with department heads, guests, and staff members.
  • Highly skilled in HVAC, boilers, electrical, carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping.
