Job Summary

Fisk University is seeking a highly qualified Mathematics Professor to join our faculty. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for teaching introductory and upper-division courses, as well as contributing to the development of our mathematics curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach mathematics courses to undergraduate students, including introductory and upper-division courses
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning
  • Contribute to the development of our mathematics curriculum, including course design and assessment
  • Engage in scholarly research and publication, with opportunities to collaborate with colleagues and students
  • Participate in university service, including academic advising and committee work
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field
  • Experience in teaching mathematics courses at the undergraduate level
  • Strong commitment to teaching and learning, with a focus on student success
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds
