Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee a team of technicians focused on maintenance projects for production and facilities. This role will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and will be responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of maintenance technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Champion all production and facility maintenance management, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Oversee facility projects related to roof, driveway, plumbing, and other maintenance activities, including timeline and budget management.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all contractors and vendors.
  • Maintain and improve the preventative maintenance program.
  • Optimize the current Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and establish consistency in its usage.
  • Focus on minimizing downtime and track and improve maintenance metrics.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory and partner with operations and maintenance staff to complete mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Assist the site electrical engineering lead with automation and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma.
  • At least five years of operations maintenance experience, with at least three years of experience supervising others.
  • Experience working in facilities maintenance.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting, including conveyors, pneumatics, etc.
  • PLC troubleshooting.
  • General knowledge of AC/DC.
  • Microsoft Office skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PLCs, automation, and/or robotics experience.
  • CMMS experience.
  • KPIs/metrics tracking experience.
