Aerial Crew Member

We are seeking a skilled Aerial Laborer to join our team at Ervin Cable. As a key member of our Aerial Crew, you will play a critical role in installing and repairing aerial telecommunications cable, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

• Provide support to technicians, including providing parts and moving bucket trucks as directed
• Ensure that door-tagging and resident notification of construction activities is completed prior to each workday
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance of fleet vehicles and equipment, documenting any issues
• Drive company vehicles as needed to job sites, if appropriately licensed

• At least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States for Ervin Cable
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid standard Driver's License with a minimum of 2 years driving experience or Class A Commercial Driver's License
• 0-1 or more years of unskilled labor experience, with telecommunications experience a plus
• Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance
• May be a certified pole climber or capable of demonstrating proficiency as a pole climber
• Knowledge of Installation of aerial and underground cables and/or support members in conformance with all applicable codes, regulations, and customer specifications (NEC Electrical Code, System and/or City Specifications)
