Job Summary

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in an outpatient setting. As a travel OT, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in hand therapy and wound care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with hand injuries and wounds
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and independence
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals
  • Implement interventions and treatments to address patient needs and goals
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in hand therapy and wound care
  • Manual Therapy, Hand Therapy, Hand Injury, Wound Care certifications
  • Ability to work in an outpatient setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hand certification
  • CHT preferred
  • BLS certification
  • Lymphedema, Fall/Risk assessment, National Patient Safety Goals/Core Measurements, Lymphedema Management, Myofascial Release, Standardized Assessments, Myofascial Release Techniques, Dynamic Splints, Functional Splints, Upper Extremity Prosthetics, Hip Fracture/Total Hip Replacement, Knee Injury/Total Knee Replacement, Amputee, Dementia/Alzheimers certifications
