The ideal candidate will demonstrate a drive to provide patient-centered experiences through scholarly scientific inquiry, compassion, and advocacy.

Responsibilities:

* Work with parents and health professionals to provide tools for coping with pregnancy, labor, and delivery
* Assess client needs, adapt programs, and implement teaching plans
* Teach Natural Family Planning
* Contribute to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques
* Communicate effectively with admin, colleagues, patients, and family members
* Demonstrate problem-solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program
* Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut
* BLS CPR certification
* Prepared Childbirth Educator certification preferred
* IBCLC certification or eligibility to sit for certification exam required
