Job Description

SPECIAL AEROSPACE SECURITY SERVICES INC is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to assist, lead, and coordinate closely with leadership within the Department of Defense Chief Information Office (DCIO). The position involves development and support of Cybersecurity Architecture artifacts, conducting gap analysis' of DCIO client's products against artifacts and efforts in the broader Cybersecurity community. The role requires working knowledge of at least one of the zero trust pillars.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist management in support of cybersecurity architecture and data centric goals.
  • Work closely with Senior Leadership at Department of Defense (DoD) Chief Information Office.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and critical thinking are essential skills for this role.
  • Developing and reviewing cybersecurity architecture products.
  • Completing weekly activity reports on activities that support DCIO client equities.
  • Ocassional local travel to support DCIO client equities in meetings once a month.
  • Ability to come into the office at least once a week.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Active TS clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher within computer science, system engineering, or other cyber security related field.
  • 5 years equivalent experience or experience within computer science, system engineering, or other cyber security related field.
