Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise and strong communication skills. As a Radiologic Technologist II, you'll be responsible for performing complex radiographic procedures, supervising assigned personnel, and maintaining a high level of quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex radiographic procedures on patients with specialized needs
  • Assist radiologists and other healthcare professionals in diagnostic and treatment procedures
  • Conduct diagnostic testing and maintenance on equipment
  • Monitor patient and equipment conditions during procedures and report changes to healthcare professionals
  • Supervise and train radiographers in a wide range of x-ray procedures
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily activities to ensure a smooth workflow
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment to ensure operational viability
Requirements
  • Valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH
  • Knowledge of radiation protection, contrast screening, and reactions
  • Skills in performing routine general x-ray exams
  • Ability to perform daily Quality Assurance
  • Knowledge of entering and retrieving patient information from PACS and HIS
