About the Role

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at a secure facility. As an Electrical Engineer - Facilities Specialist, you will be responsible for providing electrical engineering expertise for design and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as liaison between SAIC and USG representatives, coordinating and reporting on project progress.
  • Review and comment on design documentation, operational procedures, and construction installations to ensure compliance with USG standards.
  • Coordinate with facilities O&M support contractors on site operation and resiliency.
  • Analyze power capacity and usage rates and trends.
  • Assist in evaluating electrical system-related anomalies and perform root cause analysis.
  • Independently review and provide response to electrical technical requests for information (RFI), shop drawings, and construction submittals.
  • Lead technically complex electrical engineering projects.
  • Develop and generate specifications, ROMs, SOWs, and estimates for projects.
  • Ensure the USG receives valid cost proposals.
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience in the IC, DoD, or 7+ years with commercial sector.
  • Knowledge of facility operations & maintenance activities and procedures.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local building and safety codes.
  • Familiarity with facility electrical systems.
  • Engineer-in-Training.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in business or engineering.
  • Experience with Data Centers.
  • Experience with medium voltage.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (any State).
  • Experience with automation and controls through concept planning, configuration, and development.
