Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing medical imaging examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and prepare patients for exams.
  • Provide sensitive and compassionate care to patients throughout procedures.
  • Clearly explain procedures to patients and families to facilitate cooperation and alleviate anxiety.
  • Address patient concerns and provide thorough documentation of exams.
  • Perform radiologic exams that produce high-quality images and ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Utilize sterile technique when performing invasive procedures.
  • Recognize emergent patient situations and respond quickly and appropriately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Ensure supplies and equipment are stored efficiently.
  • Pursue ongoing education and career development opportunities.
  • Assist and instruct students and other Radiology Techs in exam protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • ARRT registration.
  • Current Rad Tech license in state of practice (if working in Utah).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IV Certification.
