About the Role
The Biomedical Technician Intern will gain hands-on experience in a clinical engineering environment, working alongside experienced technicians to develop skills in equipment maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of medical equipment
- Develop skills in equipment troubleshooting and repair
- Collaborate with experienced technicians to learn best practices
- Contribute to the development of preventative maintenance procedures
- Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an associate's, technical degree program, or equivalent biomedical related certification program
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including background check and substance use screening
- Valid driver's license required
