Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Alternate Solutions Health Network LLC. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our home health care services.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled physical therapy services to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a compassionate attitude, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled physical therapy services to patients in their homes, as ordered by the attending physician.
  • Assess patient conditions and notify the Physical Therapist of any changes.
  • Treat patients to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance.
  • Minimize patient risk by assessing functional problems and working towards goals to improve patient functional status.
  • Counsel patients and families on disease/injury management and instruct on proper use of equipment.
  • Complete all clinical documentation following agency protocol and Medicare/Federal guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Current license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one-year experience as a PTA in an acute care setting, with home care experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.
  • Capable of all physical demands.
