Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Surgical Tech to join our team in the Operating Room. The successful candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology and excellent communication skills. As a Surgical Tech, you will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting the surgical team during procedures.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for surgery by ensuring they are properly positioned and draped
- Maintain a sterile environment by following proper protocols and procedures
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team
- Participate in the cleaning and disinfection of the Operating Room
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
- One-year experience in a Surgical Technologist role in an applicable acute care operating room setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
