About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified neuroimmunologist to join our team as a full-time faculty member in the Division of MS/Neuroimmunology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical research and patient care, as well as excellent teaching and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Developing and implementing educational programs for medical students and housestaff
  • Conducting clinical research and clinical trials, and publishing results in peer-reviewed journals
  • Serving on departmental and university committees to promote excellence in education, research, and patient care

Qualifications and Experience

  • Board eligible or certified in Neurology
  • Completion of a Neuroimmunology/MS Fellowship Training Program
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is commensurate with experience and qualifications, estimated to be around $220,000 per year. In addition to a competitive salary, VCU offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
