About the Role

The Senior Engineering Director will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of our software development processes. This includes overseeing the development of our clinical workflow platform, defining and executing a roadmap for technology initiatives, and aligning engineering efforts with company goals and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of professional development experience, department head or business-unit leadership experience, and deep technical expertise in software development methodologies, architecture, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from inception and design to implementation and delivery, ensuring the timely release of high-quality software solutions.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for software development, quality assurance, and release management to maintain high standards of reliability and performance.
  • Drive technical innovation and excellence across our engineering organization, staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Cultivate a culture of experimentation and learning, encouraging engineers to explore new technologies, tools, and methodologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Have 10+ years of professional development experience.
  • Department head or business-unit leadership experience.
  • Deep technical expertise in software development methodologies, architecture, and technologies, with proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
