Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties to ensure the upkeep of our community grounds, buildings, and equipment. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance duties to complete all service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment, and vehicles in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
  • Fix wall and/or floor coverings, repair furniture and fixtures, perform basic plumbing work, and minor electrical repairs.
  • Repair appliances, paint and refurbish projects, work with heating and air systems, refrigeration systems, carpet and hard surface maintenance, and "make ready" rooms as assigned.
Requirements
  • One year of maintenance experience.
  • Ability to be on call if needed.
  • General understanding of systems including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and code compliance.
  • Possess a general understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.
  • Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of scheduled work hours.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
