Role & Responsibilities

The Senior Technical Project Manager is essential to our agency's success. This role involves leading the implementation of complex eCommerce strategies while demonstrating a thorough understanding of technical elements, including third-party integrations and migrations. The individual will take full ownership of projects, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure the successful launch of Shopify Plus websites.

  • Client Onboarding: Responsible for onboarding clients by reviewing sales documentation and understanding their specific needs to create tailored onboarding plans.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their needs and challenges effectively.
  • Project Planning & Management: Collaborate with teams to develop detailed project plans that outline deliverables, responsibilities, timelines, and costs, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of eCommerce, retention strategies, and UX best practices to effectively manage projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of Shopify Plus and its capabilities, assisting clients with inquiries and identifying project risks.
  • Task Management: Clearly communicate task acceptance criteria and create timelines with milestones to ensure timely delivery of enhancements.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage client budgets, ensuring accurate tracking of time and resources while addressing any discrepancies with clients.
  • Education & Mentorship: Stay updated on industry trends and provide mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Department Optimization: Identify and document improvements to processes and services, ensuring effective communication within the team.
  • Training & Development: Design and implement training programs to support employee growth and development.
