We are currently seeking dedicated warehouse personnel for our operations.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Order Selector at Graves Foods is essential in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly within a warehouse setting. This role encompasses the selection, packing, and dispatching of products to satisfy customer requests while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Efficiently select and organize products, ensuring they are properly palletized.
  • Utilize a voice picking system to confirm the accuracy of completed orders.
  • Safely operate an electric double pallet jack for product transportation.
  • Adhere to safety and productivity standards as a fundamental aspect of the role.
  • Keep the workspace and equipment orderly and well-maintained.
  • Maintain regular attendance as outlined in the attendance policy.
  • Assist with inventory assessments and restocking as necessary.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience:
    • Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
    • Experience with forklifts and other warehouse machinery is preferred.
    • Ability to meet productivity targets and deadlines.
    • Strong listening skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
    • Compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and OSHA regulations.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Experience with voice picking systems is a plus.
  • Screening: Candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and background check.

WORK SCHEDULE: Sunday to Thursday, 5 PM to 12 AM, with overtime as required.

COMPENSATION: Starting pay at $17.20 per hour.
