Position Summary:

The Electrical Engineering Manager is responsible for directing a team of electrical engineers while also engaging in design and analytical tasks to support various operational and manufacturing facilities.

Primary Duties:

  • Employs contemporary engineering methodologies to tackle organizational challenges.
  • Leverages expertise to address critical challenges and exceptional circumstances.
  • Maintains awareness of advancements in the field and suggests modifications to existing programs.
  • Functions as a technical authority, applying sophisticated concepts within the designated discipline.
  • Organizes and interprets assignments, developing plans and schedules for project activities.
  • Evaluates operational protocols to ensure alignment with established policies and standards.
  • Oversees the electrical engineering team.
  • Engages with various stakeholders and facilitates project discussions.
  • Undertakes additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of engineering experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution (Master's degree preferred).
  • Professional Engineer License is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry regulations such as NFPA, IEEE, and API standards.
  • Familiarity with construction techniques and best practices.
  • Comprehension of project management terminology, metrics, and processes.
  • Experience in delegating tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • May require occasional overtime and travel commitments.
