Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled COTA Specialist to join our team at Redwood Cove Healthcare Center. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping patients with disabilities live independently and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities to help them develop, recover, improve, and maintain skills needed for daily living and working.
  • Conduct thorough and efficient patient assessments to determine the kind of care required to meet a patient's initial needs and changes in status.
  • Record treatment rendered, progress, and changes in status relative to care, ensuring continuity of care and reimbursement of services.
  • Provide treatment therapy to patients admitted to all units and areas, including all functional levels, acuity, and special needs.
  • Coordinate OT services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients for inpatient and outpatient units.
  • Assess and treat patients admitted to psychiatry, both individually and in groups.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in COTA.
  • One year of experience in COTA.
