The salary for this position is estimated to be between $24.33 and $47.15 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain heavy vehicles, including those used in fire rescue services
  • Diagnose and repair complex defects in vehicle systems and components
  • Inspect vehicles to ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance work on City vehicles
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Five years of experience repairing automotive and power-driven equipment
  • Certification in a minimum of five areas by the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (A.S.E.) as an Automobile Technician
