Role Responsibilities:
- Conducts thorough laboratory analyses and quality assurance evaluations based on established standards.
- Performs assigned laboratory tasks within a designated area.
- Maintains procedural accuracy through stringent quality control protocols and oversees the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Ensures the upkeep of laboratory instruments and adheres to cleanliness standards in the workspace.
- Handles sample collection, administrative duties, and clerical responsibilities.
- Oversees order processing and documentation of results within laboratory information systems.
- Delivers personalized patient care that meets the developmental needs of the individuals served.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Must possess ASCP registration.
- West Virginia State laboratory technician licensure or the ability to obtain licensure prior to employment.
