Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated LPN to join our team at Healthcare Firm as an Endoscopy Nurse. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our medical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in the endoscopy center, including administering medications and treatments as directed.
  • Assist with the preparation of equipment and aid physicians during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.
  • Observe, record, and report patient's condition and reaction to drugs and procedures to physicians.
  • Arrange for patient testing and admissions, and respond to incoming telephone calls.
  • Instruct patients and families regarding medication and treatment instructions, and maintain patient records and charts.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and prepare lists of medical supplies needed.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Valid state license to practice practical nursing.
  • CPR certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
  • One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
