Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Stock Associate to join our team at Ross Stores. As a Stock Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience by maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment for everyone.
  • Immediately correct or report any unsafe conditions or practices to Store Leadership.
  • Assist customers in any way necessary, including answering questions and providing product information.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and replenishing restroom supplies to maintain a clean and organized store.
  • Expedite newly received merchandise receipts to the sales floor with a sense of urgency and merchandise all items per company best practice.
  • Understand and follow all Loss Prevention Awareness program, Shortage Highway, and merchandise protection standards.
  • Follow all policies and procedures concerning cash, check, charge card, and refund transactions.
Requirements
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store.
  • Ability to use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PC as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
