Job SummaryThis position involves inspecting wildlife traps and assisting an Exclusion Specialist with exclusion services, including animal, rodent, and pest removal. The Wildlife Technician will conduct home and property inspections, identify potential and actual wildlife problems, and remove unwanted pests. They will also set up and check on laid traps, perform carpentry and cosmetic fixes, and design further control strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and troubleshoot wildlife traps to employ sound pest control strategies.
- Maintain service schedules for customers on assigned routes, calling them prior to service.
- Assist the Exclusion Specialist in installing wildlife and pest traps, applying caulks or other supplies, and using construction methods to resolve issues.
- Perform duties on rooftops, in attics, in crawl spaces, and on ladders at least 35ft high, and take pictures of affected areas to show customers.
- Continuously monitor infestation and pest application methods, communicating progress to customers and operation managers.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 21 years of age with a minimum of 5 years of driving experience.
- Successful completion of initial training and, where applicable, successfully obtaining license/certification.
- Ability to work extended hours/weekends as needed.
- Ability to pass criminal background checks and drug screening.
- Demonstrate a safe driving record from DMV.
