Dance Instructor

As a Dance Instructor with Niles Park District, you will be responsible for teaching dance classes to children in a safe and nurturing environment. Your duties will include instructing students in scheduled dance classes, demonstrating techniques, and preparing lesson plans. You will also be responsible for choreographing dance routines for annual recitals and selecting music and costumes suitable for the students' age and abilities.

Requirements for this position include prior experience teaching dance, particularly to young children, as well as proficiency in various dance styles. You should be able to relate to and motivate students of all ages and skill levels, and have knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this role.
