We strive to foster an environment where children have access to compassionate, comprehensive treatment from therapists who are trained in a wide scope of techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and daily progress notes. Develop strong communication skills to effectively meet with patients and families. Directly involved with patient intake and consultations, gathering pertinent medical history and learning how to best treat them.
- Evaluate, assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans to best serve clients.
- Administer speech-language therapy, feeding therapy, or other specialized therapies to improve client symptoms.
- Demonstrate self-motivation, creating measurable and attainable goals for clients.
- Generate rationales that are appropriate for client plan of care.
Requirements:
- Certified or licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) welcome.
- NYS License required.
- Master's degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- HIPAA Compliant.
- Passing grade on Praxis Exam.
- Experience working with pediatric and adult populations.
- Evaluation and diagnostic experience.
- Ability to collaborate with other disciplines and professionals.
- Flexibility to work with client's shifting scheduling needs.
- Full-time employees required to work Saturdays.
- Full-time employees work 35-40 hours per week.
