Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Stauffer Manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on SOPs and ensure that all staff members are competent in executing their duties.
  • Manage the facility's cycle count program, investigate items needing adjustment, and reconcile adjustments in a timely manner.
  • Provide oversight to daily warehouse activities in the absence of the Warehouse Manager, ensuring that all position functions are executed in accordance with SOP standards.
  • Monitor the facility's consumable materials, including shipping boxes, janitorial supplies, sanitation supplies, and office supplies, and order replenishments as needed to maintain a consistent inventory.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, providing a safe and respectful work environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum high school degree or GED equivalent.
  • 3-5 years' experience in an inventory and/or warehouse environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse material handling and distribution functions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, directing multiple activities.
  • Excellent communication and team building skills.
Work Environment

This role operates in a professional warehouse environment, requiring the use of standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, safety ladders, material handling equipment, computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

The position requires that an individual can obtain a medical certification according to DOT regulations and must maintain the certification to perform the essential duties of this position.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 65lbs., climb ladders, and work on material handling equipment such as forklifts and other moving apparatus.
  • Work both in a controlled and uncontrolled temperature environment.
Travel

Limited travel is expected for this position.
