Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Registered Nutrition Specialist to join our esteemed Nutrition Team within a healthcare facility. This role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive medical nutrition therapy to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver medical nutrition therapy, including thorough nutrition assessments, dietary modifications, and patient education.
2. Adhere to the guidelines set forth in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agency requirements, while maintaining patient confidentiality and rights.
4. Mentor and train patient services staff and interns as needed.
5. Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.

Qualifications:
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, where applicable.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software.
