Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Advocate to join our team at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. As a Customer Service Advocate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and efficient manner.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding their benefits and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Document customer interactions and update customer records as necessary.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree or higher.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry and benefits.
