Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Management: Receive, stock, and rotate merchandise on the sales floor and in the backroom, ensuring that products are facing forward and at eye level.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and making product recommendations to members.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe store environment by sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash, as well as reporting any safety hazards or concerns to management.
  • Inventory Control: Count and reconcile inventory, report discrepancies, and participate in inventory audits to ensure accuracy and prevent shrinkage.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other sales floor associates, stockroom staff, and management to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise up to 25 pounds, as well as stand for long periods of time and walk up to 5 miles per day.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work assignments, as well as to learn and apply new skills and processes.
