Job Title: Manufacturing Test Engineering

The Executive Alliance is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of test solutions for our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and develop test fixtures and automated solutions.
  • Contribute to test execution, documentation, and analysis of results.
  • Determine the best test approach for each product line, balancing manual and automated testing.
  • Interpret test specifications and acceptance test procedures to conceptualize manual, semi-automated, or fully automated test solutions.
  • Design and construct electrical test stations per test specifications for testing electronic assemblies.
  • Utilize LabVIEW software to automate existing manual test kits and develop new test solutions.
  • Work with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and other support staff to develop and implement improvements related to production flow, including test time reduction and quality improvements.
  • Responsible for documentation, including generating schematics, block diagrams, software code documentation, and test flow diagrams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of experience or Master's degree and 1+ years of experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with LabVIEW software or LabVIEW Associate Developer Certification (or above).
  • Experience with test automation tools and their hardware and software interfaces.
  • Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
  • Ability to travel 10%.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with manufacturing test measurements, including voltage, current, and power analyzers.
  • Familiarity with testing in accordance with MIL and/or ISO standards.
  • Familiarity with test equipment, with an emphasis on automation and testing solid state power converters and electro-mechanical devices.
  • Familiarity with test fixture design and implementation.
  • Experience with 3D modeling and 3D printing a plus.
  • Team player with good communication skills and the ability to train less experienced team members.
  • Experience with Java, Python, or other programming languages a plus.
