About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Northern Metropolitan Nursing Home. As a union position, this role offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Record and monitor residents' health details, including vital signs and temperature.
  • Administer medications and injections as needed, ensuring the highest level of care and safety.
  • Treat and dress wounds and bedsores, promoting the overall well-being of our residents.
  • Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing.
  • Monitor residents' food and liquid intake and output, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
Requirements
  • Must be able to work effectively as a team member.
  • Valid LPN license and good standing with the State Registry.
